mango win Delhi Election 2025: PM Modi Slams Kejriwal's 'Yamuna Poison' Claim; Warns Voters Of AAP-Cong Post-Poll Alliance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday slammed Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal for accusing Haryana of 'mixing' poison in the Yamuna river and reiterating 'AAP-DA' reference he stated that the people of Delhi will break their arrogance by voting to Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming polls.

PM Modi was addressing a rally in Delhi's Kartar Nagar today when he also compared AAP leaders to serial killer Charles Sobhraj, who was infamously known for duping people.

The assembly elections in Delhi are scheduled for February 5, and the counting of votes will be done on February 8.

PM Modi began his speech by expressing condolences for the loss of lives and prayed for speedy recovery of those injured in stampede at Maha Kumbh earlier today.

Further, PM Modi slammed the ruling AAP government in Delhi and said, "Those who built 'sheesh mahal' and those who looted public money worth thousands of crores of rupees can never think of the welfare of the poor. That is why they are spreading lies in Delhi. These AAP-da people speak lies with such innocence that people get trapped."

In the first match, Haryana thrashed Rajasthan 6-1. Rohit Rana (2nd minute), Sunil Maan (11th), Sahil Ruhal (17th) and Ami Khasa (60th) scored one goal each, while Navraj Singh (7th, 37th) struck a brace for Haryana.

He said, "Delhiites want a government that builds houses for poor, provides water to every household."

"All promises made to people will be fulfilled in time-bound manner after BJP comes to power (in Delhi), this is Modi's guarantee", PM added.

Asking for votes, PM Modi said, "You saw Cong, AAP in 25 years, now give Modi a chance to serve you,ph222 games" and added, "I will take care of you like family, your dreams will be mine; give (me) strength to fulfil your dreams".

Speaking on the pollution in the Yamuna river and Kejriwal's recent accusation of Haryana 'mixing' poison it, PM Modi said, "Yamuna water is consumed by judges, diplomats as well as poor; how can one think that Haryana will poison it to kill Modi."

He then said, "'AAP-Da' saying Haryana mixed poison in Yamuna water is an insult to not just the state but country."

"'AAP-DA' sought votes in the name of cleaning Yamuna, now they shamelessly say that it doesn't yield votes," he added.

"You may have heard of Charles Sobhraj. He was a known thug, but he was such an expert at duping people with innocence that every time people would get duped by him. That is why one has to remain cautious of such people," he said.

Delhi has made it clear that now excuses, fake promises as well as "loot and lies" of the "AAP-da" government will not work, Modi said and added, "'AAP-DA' thinks of itself as master of Delhi, people will break its arrogance."
