Walker left City, who he joined from Tottenham in 2017, in January, signing on at Milan on loan until the end of the season.

The England international had endured a difficult time in the Premier League prior to the turn of the year, with City badly out of form.

Walker has featured four times for Milan since making the move to Italy, and the 34-year-old is enjoying the adventure of playing abroad.

"The first two weeks in Milan have been fantastic," he said in an interview with GQ, as reported by Football Italia.

"The fans have been excellent. The food is great. The weather could improve a little bit. It's not been sunny yet,ph222 but I'm waiting until March. I'm fully enjoying it.
